The breakfast buffet is nothing short of amazing! We stayed 4 nights, and I always looked forward to not only the astounding selection of food, but the top-notch quality of it. Best breakfast of any hotel I have ever stayed in! What I wasn’t as impressed by was their (lack of) housekeeping. I think I may have read that we could request housekeeping, but not certain. But I would have preferred if they had a regular schedule of housekeeping your room, especially if you stay over a couple of nights.

The beds were comfortable, and the location of the hotel was perfect. The staff was also kind and helpful. What was not so good was: 1) When I checked in, my reservation had been registered under another person's email address, and I was able to see his personal data. I assume this is a GDPR breach. 2) Breakfast could only be booked in predefined one-hour time slots. As a consequence, everyone had to use the elevator at the same time to get to breakfast. Everyone also arrived at the buffet at the same time due to the fixed time slots. This let queues and wasting time. 3) The quality of the buffet could have been better. The pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon were not warm on any of the days we stayed there. 4)Our toilet was not always able to flush properly. The overall setup and the general quality of the breakfast were below the standard I expected, and I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

The Atlantic Hotel is a great place to stay in Aarhus. We had a nice clean room with a small balcony and a lovely view of the harbor. The day was warm, but we kept the room cool without air conditioning by using the balcony door and the provided fan. The included breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options. Be sure to reserve a time. Easy walking distance to the city center and harbor area.
