Our stay was good. We stayed for the weekend to visit some distilleries. We booked from Hotels for a king bed but got put into a two queen room due to them being full. We were told that since we booked through a third party, we don’t get our preference. Staff was nice and apologetic about the room situation. Breakfast was nice - fresh fruit cup, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal with lots of toppings, pastries. We would stay there again.

I wish I could remember the man’s name that checked us in. He was very attentive to everyone’s needs. I saw him checking people in, picking up the area to keep it clean, he was working in the breakfast area…he was everywhere—a true team player.

The staff was very helpful. Amenities were sparse, no cups or glasses in the room, no ice bucket or bag in the room. Very pet friendly. Pool and fitness areas were very good.

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was ok. We had good muffins but was expecting more than just packaged oatmeal and hard boiled eggs. There was cold cereal and bagels offered too. The yogurt was expired. We had hot water but heard a lot of complaints at the front desk that some people had no hot water. The cable and internet was out for a night.

The staff was the highlight of the experience. The front desk lady was so very kind , friendly, patient and accommodating without hesitation. Pool was clean and open late which allowed my daughter to enjoy after arriving around 9pm. 12pm checkout time was an awesome bonus and they even allowed us an extra 30 min upon requesting. Room was cozy and glad they had fridge/microwave .Very grateful for staff and experience as a whole.

Room was fine although it was somewhat small clean ,updated, comfortable. Its a former hampton property . They did however dumb down the breakfast nothing hot ..cereal muffins etc . Then we had to speak with the front desk about the hot water .. shower the first day was lukewarm. Guess someone forgot to open the return valve.. overall it was fine because we didnt spend much time in the room.. especially fornthe price. Would maybe stay again depending on what the other hotels in the area offer. Holiday inn express and fairfield right up the street

Room was not fully stocked with towels, ice bucket, etc. daily cleaning service was not offered unless requested, and that was not communicated. Some physical property issues, the seat on the toilet would not stay upon its own, the shower curtain was too short. No comfortable chair. When we booked the too it was a Hampton Inn, now it is Spark. Not interested!

Room was clean, staff was friendly and welcoming. I didn't get a chance to try breakfast, maybe next time. I dropped the ac down to 60° and slept like a bear🐻! But for me, the HOT shower with good water pressure was the star of the show! I'll definitely be back for another stay!

Bed was too stiff for me but I was glad to see an actual comforter and the walk in shower was nice.

This is a property under renovation… so sections are “under rehabbing”. Staff is great and efficient… but still areas are quite dated and out of commission.

The whole place was clean, the hvac in our room worked great, breakfast was good and fresh. There were no obscure smells or weird stains on anything that I could see. When visiting Bardstown again, I’ll be staying here.

Room was very comfortable. Bed nice and firm lots of pillows and ample towels in the nicely sized bathroom.

The interior looked like it was under renovation. There were long strands of black hair in several places in the shower. Collected dirt particles behind the bathroom door. The pillows were rounded and very uncomfortable. We walked outside to get to the main entrance for coffee for breakfast. The breakfast items were not fresh nor tasty. With the name of Hilton behind Sparks was definitely not up to Hilton standards and very disappointing.
