I loved how central the hotel was to both downtown and uptown New Orleans. Being a block from the streetcar line was a convenient way to get around during our stay. The Hotel itself was regal, with a wonderful granite-top lobby bar.

Fantastic find right in the historic Garden District of New Orleans. I was lucky to stumble upon this new hotel for a staycation. Although it opened a week ago, it blew me away. The lobby and bar are beautifully designed. There is an outdoor area to lounge at just outside the bar. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. What a comfortable bed! One of the best I have slept on. Tasteful design. Modern French Quarter vibes. I can’t wait to return when the property is fully open. The gym, spa, pickle ball courts and pool area are under renovation. Personally I cannot wait for the pool area with the swim up bar!

Good place to stay!

We’ve stayed here several times and have always been happy we did! The rooms are clean and comfortable with a micro and fridge, staff are friendly, parking is included, and it’s very close to a streetcar stop for getting back and forth to Canal St. The area feels safe and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Plus the rates are reasonable!

Quaint place to stay

We were in New Orleans for 1 night only. Prytania Park Hotel was perfect for our stay. It was not from everything we did during the day and for the next morning to make a stop at Cafe Dumont before heading on the road. It was a quaint hotel with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the spring weather. We would stay again if we ever return to New Orleand.

it was fine.

This hotel was fine for a quick 2 nights for business. However, it was run down, there were stains on the carpet and the whole place smelled musty. As well, the rooms all open to a courtyard which is also a bit run down and sort of creepily quiet and lit. The courtyard seems to be accessible by anyone (no key card entry) but I'm not sure if hotel staff monitors who is coming and going. As a woman traveling alone, I didn't feel 100% safe and definitely barricaded my door before going to sleep.

Very well located for downtown, garden district etc One block away from St Charles Ave. so it I was quieter. While still accessible to everything. Free and easily accessible parking is a rarity in Mew Orleans

It wasn't until check in that we learned that they did not accept the park and cruise that was found on the site. The person at the front desk was rude and unable to assist. Gave me the number of the manager, who was not available. We were leaving on our cruise the next day and were stuck with what to do with our vehicle. If we stayed there it would be towed and the only thing that they offered was to cancel the reservation and rebook through them for more money. We were able to find another hotel and we left. The room was cute, however, it was old and musty smelling. Would not recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel tucked away

We were in New Orleans for a marathon. We found the Prytania to be a great hotel. About a mile & a half from the action. The staff was nice and the hotel felt safe.

Pick this Hotel to STAY!

SO BEAUTIFUL! Very convenient to trolley and walking accessible sites. Staff was amazing! Welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful with directions/how to get things and places. QUIET stay, slept better than I have in a long time!
