Terrible hotel

Worst stay ive ever had in a hotel and if i had to give a price for the room per night I would say no more than £10 per night. Breakfast was awful and i have to say the only good thing about the stay was the politeness of the staff.

Its more like a motel..only good is the location

If you just need a place to sleep, its ok...the lobby looks fine but the rooms really need to be refurbish..wifi was good..bed was terrible you can even feel the spring & its not clean..water pressure was really slow & at times there are no hot shower..the housekeeping is by request only..the good thing is the location..but I wont recommend for single lady travelling alone

Tiny room in a great location

I stayed here for 4 nights in April, in between moving house. I work in London so didn't need to spend much time in the hotel room which is probably a good thing as the room was tiny! I had a single room on the 2nd floor and it literally was a single bed in a room and not much else. The bed was comfy,the tv worked fine and wifi was ok so that was good. The staff on arrival were friendly - I didn't meet any more staff and didn't have any breakfast so can't really comment on those. The location was great - I went for a run around Hyde Park after work and Bayswater is just round the corner so plenty of restaurants and shops to visit. The bathroom was tiny but clean. Overall, if you suffer from Claustrophobia , don't stay here, but if all you want is a (tiny) bed in a good location then it's fine.

WhiteLeaf stop over.

Room was small but adequate for three adults. Bathroom and linen super-clean and fresh, no stains, mould etc. Bed linen clean and fresh. Beds a little hard and pillows thin and not enough. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and plenty. Mix of Continental/American/British. On check out we asked to leave our bags and they immediately said yes. We collected it at around 3pm with no issues. If you want a luxury 4/5 star hotel that you can lounge around in, watch TV and ignore the sights of London then don't stay here. Somewhere to sleep have breakfast and spend the days sightseeing then it is a good place. Nearest tube 3/4 minutes walk, Hyde Park several minutes walk and from there Museums, Albert Hall therefore very close and Central London a pleasant walk through the Park as is Buckingham Palace.

I need a penicillin shot after staying here.

So much terribleness. It’s rundown. Plaster separated from the wall stimuli on the tables. Dirty bathrooms with tons of rust. And the shower didn’t drain. I had to actually stop the shower to avoid it over flowing. When I checked out I sat in the lobby for about 45 minutes planning my day trip and heard 4 people complain about their rooms: 1- no light in the bathroom 2- dirty 3- the best (a literal hole in the ceiling next to the light fixture). Free breakfast and it was scrambled eggs toast etc... not bad at all.

Good location, dirty hotel

The location of this hotel is great, it's a 2 minute walk from Bayswater Tube Station, and about 5 minutes from Hyde Park. It's a very pretty area. However, the hotel itself is not ideal. It's quite shabby and run down. I booked a room with 2 single beds, and there wasn't room to swing a cat. The bedsheets didn't seem very fresh. There is a tiny TV in the room with pretty bad reception. There is also a kettle and supplied for coffee/tea which was nice, but I didn't use it. My main issue with the hotel was the shower. It looked as though it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a very long time. I am by no means a clean freak, but I felt icky getting into this shower. The shower curtain was disgusting. There is one towel on each bed and they feel like cardboard. So, overall, I was very happy with the location but I definitely will not be staying here again.

On arrival at the whiteleaf hotel we found it to be closed down and looking like a building site. The telephone number is invalid and hotels.com were no help at all. We had nowhere to stay and had to find a last minute hotel. We are still trying to get our money back and absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service aftercare.

Sunkhotell

Skitsunkigt hotell med svartmögel runt fönstret på rummet och sängarna var typ 4 ihopsatta dynor med kanter åt alla håll där man ligger. Vissa i personalen var ganska trevliga medans andra var bara besvärade av att få en fråga. Ingen frukost serverades fastän det stod det i annonsen när vi bokade hotellet! Vill du ha nån form av psykisk klåda ska du åka hit. Personligen kommer jag aldrig att besöka hotellet igen. Riktigt dåligt!!

Stuslig, slitent hotell med god beliggenhet.

Hvis du er på utkikk etter noe sentralt, veldig billig sted uten noe ekstra, kan dette være stede for deg. Da kan du ikke være nøye på støv, slitne rom og manglende housekeeping. De tømte ikke søppel på 4 dager. Jeg har vært her 4 netter og var nesten helt inneforstått med hva jeg hadde bestilt. Enerom i 3.etg med delt bad. Heldigvis vask på rommet. Toalettet var to trapper ned, dusjen var i 2.etg. Bittelite og ganske så skittent. Kjøpte meg en klut og vasket meg i vasken på rommet. Rommet var helt ok. Seng, ustøtt nattbord, liten pult og stort garderobeskap som helte gode 20 cm ut fra veggen øverst. Bra panelovn under vinduet og en ekstra på gulvet så det ble varmt og godt. Ingen TV, gratis WIFI. Så ingen dyr/insekter har ingen bitt etter 4 dager. Et stuslig hotell, men det kan hende jeg bor der igjen mest pga prisen og beliggenhet. Betalte 380 kr natta og kan ikke være kresen da.

Avoid!

The only good think about this hotel was location, close to tube station, shops and restaurants. With walking distance to Kensington Palace. Rooms were below standards, Room and bathroom were dirty and all you could smell was bleach. In the fridge were damp and juice which must have been there for weeks! Hotel is advertised with breakfast served, when we arrived it turned out that they do not serve breakfast since 6 months! That was the only reason why we picked this hotel. Overall very disappointing stay for the price we have payed. I do not recommend

Bei Ankunft wurde uns ein nicht aufgeräumtes Und schmutziges Zimmer zugewiesen. Nach unserer Beschwerde deswegen mussten wir uns in ein Apartment etwas weiter weg begeben. 4.Stock, kein Lift, Schimmel im Badbereich und ein Bett aus zwei Sofateilen zusammengeschoben!!!! Nie mehr wieder!!!!!

Hôtel trés bien situé Propreté OK. Salles de bain corrects Quand nous sommmes arrivées le 1er soir, nous étions ds un chambre au ss sol sans fenêtre, rien à voir avec les photos Petit dej trés moyen (café lyophilisé en sachet...), pas de boisson chaude pour les enfants. Servi dans une piece lugubre Personnel gentil en particulier la jeune femme qui fait la nuit en revanche la femme qui fait la journée en w.e (samedi et dimanche 8 et 9 dec) était ODIEUSE et trés desagréable. Hôtel vetuste et viellissant. Limite insalubre. Pas d'asc pourtant 3 étages A ne pas recommander d'autant qu'il y a plein d'hotel de qualité divers dans la rue. C'etait la 1ere fois, mais je ne passerai plus par le site de Oui SNCF pour reserver un hotel

Hotellet er meget dårlig, var der i 4 nætter hvor der ikke blev gjort rent eller fik nye håndklæder, måtte selv finde wc parpir i et skab da der sket ikke var noget service på værelserne når du først var der, det ene værelse var der ingen vand så man kunne bade eller skylde wc’et ud.
