Only go in summer

Staff extremely friendly, showed us around and explained the history of the property. However nights are cold in April in this hilltop location and our room was chilly despite having 2 oil filled radiatiors. Breakfast was meagre and the coffee was not hot enough.

This is a wonderful centuries-old house that has been converted to a delightful hotel. Highly recommended!
