8/10 Very good

Best stay for the money!

Appreciate the fast service, clean room, quiet (didn't share a wall with another guest) kindness of the front desk. Overall, I will stay there again!
Randall, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Slum hotel

Was a total dump, room smelled, towels were dirty, breakfast was a joke, coffee, 2 types of cereal, and when we walked in the owner came in barefoot with a room temperature gallon of milk. They also kept the deposit, and room was cleaned when left, with no damage. Paid $250 for one night, been in way nicer hotels for $55 a night. Total dump all around

Horrible front desk

The employee at the front desk was rude and called me the ich word five times because I kept asking to reports himself since I could not understand him. Horrible service.

Good clean room in a bit out of the greatest areas. Bed was terribly uncomfortable, hard as a rock. Otherwise, everything is ok

My stay at Econolodge, Norwalk OH

First if the room looked like the one on the website, it may have been okay, the rooms are filthy as are the windows, the owner /manager? is the rudest person I have come across dropping the F bomb on me more than once when asked if maybe there was maybe an egg cushion to make the bed more comfortable I was told this to look at the F'ing sign this is Econo Lodge not the Hilton and with cigarette burns in the bedding thats for sure. The truth is I should get a full refund, you would not even put foot in the pool, its so filthy. The guy running this place is a nut case.

Liar, Robs money by the name of security deposit.

The front-desk lobby keeper charged me a security deposit of $30 stating that its refundable and would returned upon verifying that there are no stolen towels and no stench of smokes. I checked out clear on the next morning of my stay and the security deposit return would hit back into my account within a couple of days. It's been 25 days and it never did. I called him up twice and he claims he returned it. I called up the bank and verified that no such transaction got posted.

Find someplace else

Just needed a place to sleep for the night. Property is unkept, grass is knee high and an unexpected $30 deposit in case of room damage. I was still charged the $30, and no refund given. When I call, it just rings, nobody answers and no machine to leave a message. Wanted to turn my room keys over at 6:30 am, doors were locked going into front desk. Came back at 10:30, it was unlocked but nobody around. Rooms are from the 1970’s. Do not recommend!

Not Recommended

Not in line with econologdge expectations, might have been an off name inn. No directions for check in when main door locked. Card keys were white and he took a sharpie, crossed out previous room # and wrote our current room # on it. Keys were dropped off in a plastic pumpkin outside of main door, which concerns me. Room was very outdated, bed and pillow not comfortable. Breakfast was the worst ever - green bananas, prepacked little debbie donut, milk in a jug just sitting on the counter not temp controlled. When going back out to my car after about 15 min arriving the police were there regarding a problem between the customer trying to check in and the clerk, not sure what occurred and who instigated but an unsettling occurrence with family. Definitely wont stay here againt and will paid more for a better quality place. Sad to have associated this with the econolodge name.

8/10 Very good

A decent enough hotel, rooms were fairly clean and as described. The man who checked us in could have been a bit friendlier, but other than that it was a decent nights stay.
