Great location for Copenhagen Half marathon and across the road from train/ metro. Missed out on having actual cup/ mug in the room, only had paper cups. Pillows very soft and lumpy. Couldn't actually hear the trains so sleep not affected from noise. Staff very helpful. Bar was nice area to sit. Very long corridors, especially when your room is the last one.

Staff was very helpful. Room was clean. Water cup in the bathroom was used/dirty. They offered me the use of a fan to keep cool for free! The breakfast will leave you wanting. I requested a late checkout which cost and they failed to tell the cleaning crew so I was woken up 1.5 hr earlier than I wanted. The smoke detector blinks white light all night as well.

Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our 5 day stay, except for the person who was working at the front desk during the early morning of July 4, 2026. That person seems he didn’t want to be there at all. Room was good and clean. Area was very convenient, especially with the train station right across the street. Tourist attractions within walking distance. I would recommend this place.

Decent room, all necessary amenities and the room was clean. Fairly basic but a good base for the trip. Very convenient location for metro, trains and walking to nearby attractions. Description for the room we had did say it was next to the train lines so we expected some noise, however it was very loud and did get annoying when trains were constantly going past, especially with the window open due to the heat as there was no air con.

The hotel was spotless & the staff was exceptionally friendly & helpful. HOWEVER, after staying at the GO Ansgar recently, I saw a big difference in the rooms (aside from the train noise). GO Ansgar room was MUCH BETTER in terms of amenities such as having: a Full Room light switch inside front door, small refrigerator, USB plugs, the wall heaters were more accessible, separate wall heater in the bathroom & having a water sink stopper in bathroom, having a Lo/Hi toilet button ..... and at Osterport, there was absolutely NO PLACE to put your bathroom toiletries except on the floor !!!! Lastly, the only heating system at Osterport was behind & under the curtains :-( Which means that we needed to crunch up the curtains so they would not cover up the heating unit. IF guests stay in the winter, these would be VERY COLD ROOMS to stay in because of the curtains mentioned above and NO HEATING in the bathroom !! Finally, I would recommend at least a phone # posted in the rooms on how to call the front desk if you needed something or if there was an emergency! And, posting the breakfast hours in the room would be very helpful, too ! Otherwise, I VERY MUCH APPRECIATED the WONDERFUL GO Osterport staff and also the excellent location!

The hotel was in a great location. Really can't say anything bad about the hotel it was really a good room but a little small. Please note that the that there was no elevator, so you had to lug the luggage up and down the stairs. One thing to note was the front desk staff they were not really all that helpful, I just dumbfounded by the fact that staff did not think that they are in the service industry. Would stay there again. Location is perfect.

The hotel is on the edge of Downtown. Close to a train station and public busses. A 20 minute walk to downtown. The rooms was small but well equipped. The service was great. Very helpful and ready to assist. The only complaint I had was the lack of shelves in the bathroom. There was minimum space for the toilet trees.

Property located close to several tourist spots walking distance. We walked everywhere! It IS right along the rails so if you don’t mind the train noise it’s a perfect spot! They offer ear plugs in the rooms but it didn’t really bother us. The even numbered rooms are on the train side and the odd numbered rooms are not. They offer buffet breakfast for a fee, and the selection was good. They offer bicycles (not sure if it’s a rent thing or offered free by staying there) but a great way to get around since 63% of Copenhagen residences get around by bicycle!
