Our week long stay at Phoenix Copenhagen was wonderful. The entire staff was so helpful from beginning to end and we always felt very well taken of. The room was lovely and cozy, with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was a good size but the shower was a little tricky to get in and out of without a handle to use. Our room was on the street side but very quiet, which was wonderful. I will absolutely stay at this ideal location (close to great restaurants and the Metro) again.

The hotel is situated in a very accessible and central location, and the breakfast offered was of excellent quality. The staff handling luggage was courteous and attentive upon arrival. However, the main issue was the lack of cleanliness in the room, including inadequate vacuuming and unkempt bedding. When the beds were repositioned to make two single beds, numerous hairs and debris were found beneath the white mattress, indicating that the area had not been properly cleaned for some time; the floor was also poorly vacuumed. Additionally, the coffee machine contained an outdated coffee pod lodged inside. The bathroom was notably small, with the design of the bathtub and shower making entry and exit very challenging. The room itself was quite limited in space, offering minimal room for a suitcase. The overall impression of the room was disappointing. Furthermore, guests should be prepared to carry their luggage up stairs, as access to the room required ascending stairs to reach the elevator. We contacted the front desk on the morning of our departure for assistance with the luggage due to the stairs, but no one answered, so we ended up carrying our suitcases up the staircase.

Fantastic hotel. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Substantial breakfast with lots of food choice. Great coffee!! Safe in room for valuables. Fitness suite (didn’t use but looks good). Close to landmarks - 5 minutes to Marble Church, Nyhavn harbour restaurants and canal tours as well as Kongens Nytorv (The King's New Square) and start of shopping centre. Also close to metro to get most places in city. Happy to recommend.
