I had an apartment with a kitchenette for 1 week at the Esplanade. Since I didn't have a car, it was convenient--only about 3 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of blocks from the central pedestrian zone. The property itself was attractive with a pleasant breakfast area and a nice enclosed central courtyard. The staff was also quite friendly and attentive. The sauna was a very nice, unexpected benefit at the end of tiring days. An excellent option in central Dortmund!

Staff good people. But bathroom toilet separate from shower very uncomfortable never seen anything like that before. In three days never came to the room to clean at all. No new towels after a few days at least. Also bed are divided mattress. Very uncomfortable. Like I said staff ok and also location ok. In general hotel it self is remodeled and looks good.

Terrible air conditioning. Staff could not help me with the airconditioning since there is 1 remote for all air conditioning in the entire hotel. Took the measure in own hands and reprogrammed the AC for my own room with my wife. Had a great sleep after figuring the AC out. So thanks but no thanks to the staff.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt, med kort gangavstand til butikker, restauranter, kafeer og shopping. Rommet var lite,men fint, og personalet var svært serviceinnstilt, hyggelig og hjelpsomt under hele oppholdet. Frokosten var helt grei, men kunne vært bedre. Juicen smakte mer som sukkervann enn ekte juice. Jeg valgte også å ikke spise søtsakene, da det var mange små insekter rundt dem. Et godt tips er å oppbevare søtsaker i beholdere med lokk for å holde dem ferske og beskyttet. Alt i alt hadde vi et fint opphold, og den sentrale beliggenheten og det hyggelige personalet veier opp for mye.

Das Zimmer war nicht Sauber, die Stehleuchte war mit Spinnennetz voll. Die Schlafmatratze war dreckig, das Zimmer veraltet. Es hat mich sehr enttäuscht. Das einzige was sauber war, war das Bad. Der Rezeption habe ich auch mitgeteilt das ich nicht Zufrieden war. Das Personal war freundlich.

Schon beim Einchecken verlief alles reibungslos. Wurden sehr nett empfangen und uns wurde alles sehr gut erklärt. Das Frühstück hatte ein sehr großes Angebot und auch dort waren hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet, schönes Bad, genug Platz. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Alles in allem war ich sehr zufrieden und kann es nur empfehlen. Geschickt ist die gute Lage zum Stadtzentrum und die Parkmöglichkeit des Hotels.
