Easy to find and location was excellent. There were no parking space at the hotel but we knew that before so it didn't effect. Breakfast was great. Big suprise was that our room was upgraded to better one at the same price so that was a great suprise.

Whilst our room appeared fairly basic, it was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in and shower worked well with plenty of hot water. The breakfast probably had the best selection of options we’ve ever come across, it was excellent and a very relaxing restaurant.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were excellent. Hot drinks were only available in the reception area, which ordinarily wouldn't be a problem but for the factthat yhe tea bags and mik were not kept fully stocked. It would have been helpful to have had a safe in the room. But what really let the hotel down was the construction work in the ground floor bar and club,with pneumatic drilling and hammering taking place before 0800 hors on our last morning. Nd to add to this, the staff advised that the breakfast area was closing at 10.00, a whole hour earlier than the advertised time. As we had only been there for 15 minutes, this meant that our breakfast was rushed and incomplete. Very disappointing.

The receptionist told me because of construction work, I couldn't get a toom on rhe lower floor, only to hear hammering the very next day. I went and told the employyees, who said they would check it out. Only for the hammering, to be accompanied by drilling. This starte 9.00 am, and lasted at least to 14.00 pm, on and off. Also the hallway smells weirds. I left a day early. Never again. Only good thing was the breakfast.

I’ll start by saying the team there are lovely - super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very decent but I get the sense that Norwegian hotels all do a really nice breakfast! Not sure how this place is a 4 star. The room and bed were the size of a student dorm room. The shower had no enclosure so the water just poured out onto the floor everywhere in the bathroom. There was not even enough counter space in the bathroom to put my own toiletries on, no shelf, nothing. There were absolutely no amenities - no body lotion, cotton ear buds, toothpaste, etc. and just two tiny towels. You have to put in a request to have your room cleaned, which I did but even then they didn’t clean it they just put new towels. Everything else was still dirty. These things are all totally fine IF the hotel was cheap, but it’s not!! It’s a 4-star hotel and the price reflects that!! I was truly shocked. Would not recommend it.

Lovely stay. Great breakfast. Perfect location. Room was very clean except for a ball of hair found in one corner of the room upon my arrival. Not the best first impression but everything else about the stay and cleanliness was beyond reproach and succeeded in undoing that first impression. Harmless lapse. I was even offered breakfast at 3:30am before I left for the airport. I’d give it 4 1/2 stars if that were an option. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself is well located within walking distance to all (except for the Arctic cathedral) tourist attractions and the main “high street”. The room was nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We appreciate that people generally have breakfast at a certain time and this meant that the restaurant was overly busy during this pinch point. However, there is no real structure or assistance from the hotel with this and therefore makes it feel chaotic. With this said; the spread served at the buffet breakfast has an extended variety of choices - amazing! We would definitely stay here when we next visit during the summer sun!
