The property looked like had a great past but now it's a little abandoned. One night, i asked for two glasses with ice. The hotel provided a plastic dirty glass and a little ice and i had to almost implore to have it. It seems the hotel were really great at some time but not anymore. The Neighborhood is safe and peaceful and the bedroom is okay.

I experienced very helpful staff. They managed to get me into my room when I arrived early. Very pleasant employees at the bar and the restaurant. The restaurant prepared a delightful specialty drink and provided generous snacks. Front desk arranged very early taxi pickup.

8/10 Very good

Hotel Mirage is not a particularly fancy place, but it worked well for us as a base near Florence airport at the beginning and end of our trip. PROS: - a short taxi ride from the airport (20euros) - well-stocked breakfast buffet - a couple of good restaurants nearby - room was clean and practical - staff was friendly and helpful - free parking CONS: - we had two different rooms for our two visits, one was rather plain and needed updating, the other was a bit more modern - not terribly quiet, with rail tracks and airport close by

If all you’re doing is looking for a 1 night place near the airport, then go for it. But not for anything more than that. Shower didn’t drain, missing fridge, cabinet door hanging off the frame, horrible smell in room 706, rusted sink, very very dated, but the staff was friendly though both at check in and when I needed a taxi. Was there 12 hours, never again.

Breakfast was good. The room was clean. The outside of the place looks old and in need of improvement, but the things that mattered were there.

2/10 Poor

We had to change rooms because we needed two beds and the room we were transferred to had no air conditioning. I went to the desk and was told they were aware of that (if so, why did they put us in that room?!?!) and it would be up and running shortly. We were on our way to dinner and were assured it’d be fixed by the time we returned. Upon return they told us it was fixed but when we got there it was not! To make sure, I went to our other room (we rented two) and theirs was working great. The weather was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit and we had to wake up at 4am for an international flight. Needless to say I did not get a good night sleep which did not bode well for a 10 hour flight! I would like a refund on the one room.

Great Hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing I don't like was the smoking spot in front of the hotel but I guess it is Italy thing. Will definitely stay here again.
