Check-in was smooth, which was probably the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. The hotel is right next to the interstate, and we heard traffic noise all night long — definitely not restful.
The room itself was a disappointment. The floors were dirty, the chairs were stained and nasty, and the door had to be kicked open just to get in — not ideal for a woman over 50 dealing with extra weight. That alone was embarrassing and unsafe.
To make things worse, the pool was unavailable (no explanation given), and the complimentary popcorn at check-in was stale. Room service tried to come into the room at 10 a.m., even though check-out was listed as 12 — not okay after the restless night I had.
Parking was terrible; we had to park far from the room, and the steps weren’t anywhere close. Honestly, we didn’t even try the free breakfast after all that. At $140 a night, this was a massive overcharge for what felt like a 2-star experience at best.
Overall, I’m really sad and frustrated with our stay. I would not recommend this hotel unless serious improvements are made.
The rates were higher because there are a lot of other hotels within walking distance of this one that are better and worth the price.
