We stayed here for a night on our tour of Bulgaria and Romania. It was conveniently located, was modern and very clean. The room didn't have great sound insulation but the others in the hotel were quiet so we never had an issue. We just noted it when we were in the room that we could hear people outside quite well. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel and the staff was very attentive.

Family of 4 stayed here August 2025. The room was excellent, just be aware I don’t think there is an elevator (I may be wrong). The character of the building with Byzantine-era walls was outstanding. Good breakfast. EXCELLENT location for Old Town Plovdiv. Staff was super-helpful with sorting parking. Great communication prior to the stay. 10/19 - highly recommended! This might have been one of our favourite hotels during our eight week holiday. The hotel is perfectly situated: right next to the old town and also the lively restaurant area. Our room was large and spotless, the breakfast was large too, and the staff were charming.
