This was our second stay at this property. The location is convenient for when we have business or medical needs to deal with. The rooms are comfortable, simple and clean. Unfortunately, for both of our stays we encountered difficulties when checking out. First stay, the front desk staff person was unable to print out our receipt. They said they would email it to us, but it never showed up. Instead, 7 small charges showed up in my credit card activity from the hotel. I called to ask again for an accurate receipt, and a different person answered the phone and promised to resend the receipt. Three days and three phone calls later, a receipt finally arrived via email and shortly after, the accurate charges showed up in my credit card activity. About a month later, we stayed at the Indigo hotel in Everett again. Delightful stay, peaceful location, good food in the restaurant. Upon trying to check out, the same front desk person told me that she could not take our payment because we had booked through Expedia and that Expedia would have to send us the bill. I knew that I had booked to "pay on site" for our stay, but she refused to take my payment. Not sure we will ever return to this hotel. Complications with simply preparing a receipt at check-out does not encourage customer confidence.
