Wie allen maritim Hotels merkt man auch diesem an dass es aus einer anderen Zeit stammt. Es ist aber alles gepflegt und sauber, und in der Zeit aus der es stammt hat man halt Leute noch nicht in Miniaturzimmer gesperrt mit einzelner Toilette ohne Waschbecken hinter einer Schiebetür sondern man hat ein ganz normales Badezimmer wie in einem Apartment und kann sich im Zimmer auch noch bewegen wenn man den Koffer geöffnet abgestellt hat. Als Vielreisender weiß ich so etwas sehr zu schätzen. Ich glaube dennoch dass maritim als Kette sich überlegen muss wie es ein Publikum unterhalb der 65 plus x anspricht und gewinnt.

Ein Hotel mit dem Charme der 1980er Jahre, sauber, freundliches Mitarbeiter, aber ... ... aber alles in die Jahre gekommen und deutlich renivierungsbedütftig.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr gut ist die Schwimmhalle und die großen, geräumigen Zimmer. Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Die Stadt und der Kurpark sind gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Leider waren einige Fahrstühle ausser Betrieb und man musste über die Treppen laufen. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, allerdings für den Preis sehr einfältig. Die Parkgebühren waren deutlich überteuert, 14 Euro/ Tag, gleich neben dem Hotel konnte man für 7 Euro pro Woche parken.

Wir waren hier für ein kleinen Wochenendausflug. Unser Zimmer war im "Altbau", der (laut Information der Rezeption) aus dem Jahre 1856 stammt. Das Schwimmbad war ein angenehmes Extra und früh am Morgen noch nicht stark besucht (außer uns war noch drei andere Hotelgäste dort). Das Frühstücksbufett ist überschaubar. Für uns war es ausreichend und es fehlte uns an nichts. Es wurde kontinuierlich aufgefüllt. Einen zusätzlichen Frühstücksgast konnten wir ohne Problem gegen einen kleinen Obolus mitbringen.
