Would stay again

Stayed after a trip to local Drayton manor park. Room was basic, but clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food at reasonable prices. Would stay again.

The staff were very nice and welcoming, good atmosphere in the bar will definitely stay here again

Grim stay

Rooms were old and grim!! Black mould all over the bathroom and beds were really uncomfortable. Pub itself was pleasant and staff were friendly enough.

8/10 Very good

My only complaint, about the whole experience, being that there wasn’t any facilities provided in the room for making tea or coffee. While a tea and coffee maker were available in the bar area, access was limited to the bar being open. Therefore between 11:00 pm and 08:00 am, one wasn’t able to access a hot drink?

2/10 Poor

Car park full when arrived, the lovely lady at reception moved her car to allow me to park my van! She was fantastic. But it ends there, gross bathroom disgusting shower had 1 setting like being under a kettle, if i wasn’t so tired i would have sacrificed the £67 and gone elsewhere!

Parts needed attention, bedroom was clean and bed comfy.

Great hotel. Great Staff in need of some TLC

Very economical hotel but whilst it is immaculately clean and tidy. Previous users have treated it badly and it shows

Needs a lot of updating

Cheap but very basic and really could do with some TLC. I mean the room is as clean but dirty! It had been cleaned but lots of stains on carpet and chair, TV didn’t work, cracker tiles in bathroom and mould. Staff really nice hence don’t want to put it down to much, but would I stay again NO

No kids ;)

Strange place is Fazeley, a couple of miles from Drayton Manor theme park, arrived just after 9pm, my son had seen the pool table in the online photos so fancied a game a pool and to watch some football on TV..... Unfortunatly kids are not welcome after 9pm.... did the job of somewhere to sleep.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. We were told that there would be a disco at night and it should finish at 12.30 - it finished at 2 and the music was thumping through all the rooms. There was a gap of almost 1 cm down the side of the door frame which we could see through which was somewhat unsettling. We also could not understand why there was a kettle in the room - there were no cups, no coffee/tea and no electric cable to plug it into.

Hell Hole

The room was filthy , I requested a refund from the venue they never replied, also hotels.com seem to be ignoring me as well. They told me that it should be processed in 72 hours , I’m still waiting. The bedding had huge brown stains on it , the mattress had yellow and brown stains, the carpets and window blinds were tatty and stained , the shower rail was hanging off, the shower head was filthy, the whole shower enclosure was filthy. There was a kettle but no cups or tea / sugar/ coffee. The list goes on.
Bedding
Loose shower rail
Dirty shower head
Dirty / marked carpets

Basic and budget which suited what I needed. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation is above a pub so beware of possible noise from downstairs. The Room was fine albeit a little tatty and very basic.

Lovely little inn

Lovely little inn with super comfortable beds. We slept so well! Sadly our in room TV didn’t work and the internet was a little spotty. The staff were very friendly and it was a lovely atmosphere!

A very basic place to stay!

The room had a dirty carpet, no remote control for the tv, there was a kettle but no cups, tea, coffee or sugar!

ok stay

It was easy to find, the carpark isnt very large. Room was lovely and clean, was just disappointed that there were not Tea/Coffee facilities in the room. The only other complaint was the room was too hot with no fans or aircon.
