Absolutely Disgusting Experience. Stay Away
I stayed at the Atrium Hotel and had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I was first checked into Room 225, which smelled horrible and had leftover bacon and food on the carpet, plus used fake eyelashes on the floor and in front of the bathroom sink. Clearly, the room had not been cleaned. I reported it the next morning at 6 AM and asked for either a clean room or to have this one thoroughly cleaned.
When I returned more than 10 hours later, nothing had been done. The room was in the exact same filthy condition. I called the front desk again and was told they saw the note but had no explanation for the inaction. They offered to move me to another room, Room 237, but said they couldn’t send the key and made me go down to get it myself and return the old key.
Room 237 was somehow even worse. It also reeked and within minutes I saw two cockroaches crawling around. It was now past 2:30 AM, I couldn’t sleep, and the room was unlivable.
This entire experience was completely unacceptable. Poor hygiene, pests, unresponsive staff, and zero accountability. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
