Lovely guest house situated in walking distance of the town centre, bars and restaurants. Beautiful garden. Room was warm and cosy. Tea making facilities in the room. We had our little dog with us and were provided with dog bowls, treats, blankets, towels and poo bags. Lovely touch. Our stay was brief as we had a long journey home.

We had a fantastic stay at Puddle Duck Lodge. The attention to detail throughout the lodge was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's in a great location, offering everything we needed, and we felt it was excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We hope to return again one day!

Fantastic central location in Bowness - an abundance of shops and restaurants are on the doorstep, and the jetty is a just a short walk away. The allocated parking is a huge benefit. The garden outside the property is absolutely stunning, and the room was spacious, spotless, comfortable and full of charming character (the Puddle-Ducks theme was a lovely touch). The morning breakfast hamper with breads, fruit, yogurt, and juice was really nice too. Highly recommended

We visited the Lakes District for a 4 day vacation and came across this delightful boutique bed and breakfast lodge. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room, and the rest of the lodge, were tastefully decorated and cosy. The breakfast was excellent, being continental in style, but very large. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the main part of Bowness-on-Windermere, with multiple cafes and easy walking access to the pier. Parking is available, which is important since parking is at a premium around Bowness. Importantly, the Dales Walking track is also easily accessible and can take you to a number of outstanding lookouts over Lake Windermere and surrounds. Highly recommend this lodge for a comfortable and cosy stay.

My and his partner absolutely loved their stay. Attentive but not over bearing hosts. Excellent location with parking, the property is exceptionally well appointed with some really nice touches.
