Hotel is dated but clean enough. One lift is held together by gaffer tape thankfully we were on the 1st floor so used the stairs. Great location for the city centre

Great check in facilitated by Anson on the desk, friendly, professional and informative. City centre location and quiet room high and at the back were key bonuses. Thanks folks, will make you my choice in Edinburgh next time.

Great location in the city centre. We were on 2nd floor and the rooms probably need a refurbishment.

8/10 Very good

A good hotel but extortionate cost. I know rates were higher because of the Commonwealth Games but how can you justify that cost, particularly as the breakfast was nothing much to write home about. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly an oriental lady.

They were doing some work on one of the elevators but that was not a problem. The room was small but fine. It is well located near Queen Street station and a great place to use as a base for visiting the city.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, in particular, the reception staff and housekeeping manager. Rooms are a little dated and expensive for what you get. However, no issues with cleanliness which is important to me!
