A wonderful historical setting, with ample features and enhancements from the period. Buffet style breakfast was ample and delicious. Ale Stenar is a must see and is close by. The host is personable and willing to help Be sure to ask about the history of the buildings.

great space!!! very quiet, free parking, cozy bed. perfect for a night stay over before flying out of CPH. only downside was a fly in my room that was easily shooed out, but I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. and breakfast was delicious! 9.5/10 all around.

4/10 Fair

We arrived late, but the room key was waiting for us at reception. Unfortunately, we hadn’t been told this in advance, which is why we were already worried about whether and how we would be able to get into the room. Whilst the building looks very inviting from the outside, the very basic furnishings and facilities leave a lot to be desired. Instead of glasses, there were paper cups in the room. The room was cold. Although there were towels, there was neither soap nor shampoo in the bathroom. What’s more, the bathroom was flooded after showering. Only a small room was available for breakfast; as it was full, it was very noisy. The breakfast selection was meagre, with hardly any choice, and the staff in charge of breakfast seemed decidedly bored. All in all, neither the accommodation nor the breakfast was worth the price.

It is ok for the price. The reception was never open. The breakfast was prepared without any love at all. Bread from the supermarket, cheese without any taste. All together I would like to encourage the owners to do a bit more of an effort...

Great Breakfast - good ambiance and food was delicious. Apple and Pear Orchard was a Plus - love the beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Guy - Owner was very friendly and accommodating, we appreciated the hospitality while staying at Stora Herrestad. We will definitely consider staying again in the future .

6/10 Good

We were there for 2 days and we had no idea who the owners were. The room was dated. It looked like 1980. They tried to make it wheelchair accessible, but the toilet was at least 10cm to low, there were still steep thresholds and we had to move the double bed 30cm or the wheelchair could not reach the bathroom. On several doors there were door closers. That's very inconvenient when you are in a wheelchair

Väldigt sköna sängar. Lugnt o tyst. Gott om parkering. Bra frukost med generös tid, 7-10. Brant trappa upp till rummen på övervåningen. Snedtak i vårt rum. Hade läst på dåligt så förvånad när det inte fanns TV på rummet, men det blev riktigt bra utan. Maggan
