I reserved this stay on the basis of the La Quinta reputation. It was awful. Hotel is being renovated—only a few rooms are improved. No breakfast. No parking near our room. We walked away from prepaid stay.

Simple stay for what we needed

Simple location for what we needed for a gymnastics competition. Lovely staff and even with the construction very welcoming. Great location close to the airport and freeway. Will definitely stay again in the future.

The Morning breakfast that should of been....

Pros: Right next to the airport and freeway. Didn't hear any noise from either. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of places to eat at close by. Cons: It was under construction and I had booked last year. I didn't get notified about it. The toilet plunger had been used but not cleaned, there was toilet paper on it. There was no breakfast because of construction and the construction was not even close to the lobby. The pool was out of service, there was no construction on it either.

The first room I was given had a broken safety door, so I had to walk all the way to the front desk to have my room changed. The second room's air conditioning was so loud that I couldn't sleep well, and the toilet seat had a urine stain that was obviously not cleaned, as well as a lot of human hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor. Breakfast consisted only of sweet cupcakes; it was like eating sugar.

Clean rooms but the ‘buffet breakfast’ was disappointing even by my standards. Juice machine. Coffee machine. Apples. One type of muffin. No choice of muffins pastries no milk no yogurt no bread and toaster.

Good place to stay. The room was clean and spacious with nice laminate flooring and a comfortable king size bed. The breakfast was disappointing as we expected a continental offering but only ended up with a grab and go selection. A posted sign indicated there was only limited breakfast due to renovation work. Super convenient freeway access.

The staff is beyond accommodating and friendly. They really do make you feel like family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Its my "go to" spot in the Reno/Sparks area. The price is right, also!
