I have pictures and videos when I asked front desk to switch my rooms he said no, then after I told him I had kids and he switched me the next room had bugs as well, smelled funny, the floor was wet , and I was told I couldn’t switch rooms or get a refund because I booked through a third party

We entered the room and immediately walked back out to check out. I am saying this as someone who drove 8 hours and just wanted to sleep. This was one of the cheaper hotels... but when I entered the hallway to our room, the carpets were stained and it smelled so bad. When we got into our room, there were more stains on the carpet, the chairs, AND the bed covers. There were cigarettes holes burned into the covers as well. The cabinets were broken and chipped. The bathroom was gross. The shower drain was black and there was a huge brown recluse spider (so we think) in the sink.
