This hotel has everything you need including ceiling fans which are better than air con. Fantastic breakfasts and a short walk to the best beach where you can use the cabanas from the Halos hotel. Its the best value hotel on the island too!

We loved this hotel. The staff are great. It’s cheap as chips compared to other hotels in the town( because) it’s a 5 min walk to the glorious beach where they have an arrangement with another hotel to use their cabanas! The rooms are modern, spacious with ceiling fans which are better than air con as they are quiet. We voted the breakfast here the best of the hol, from 3 !

Amazing location and kind workers.

Amazing location, fast to get to the beach and restaurants. Kind people who work there! Extraordinary from the young guy with earrings, can't remember his name but he was very kind! Comfy bed and tv with loads of Channels. Only neg thing is the black out curtains doesnt really darken the room. Clean and tidy room, decent size on the mini fridge (which actually gets really cold)

Good boutique hotel

I arrived late at night and the receptionist Lou was friendly. I asked the hotel for the shuttle and there was lack of communication their side. They hadn't confirmed and i booked via a different site and they sent a taxi anyway! Luckily my private taxi agreed to take me on the return airport run. The room was lovely and spacious. Nice bathroom and balcony too. Aircon and a fan. All staff were nice and happy to help. 5 minutes from the pier and beach. Great location.

Wonderful comfy beds . Nice breakfasts. Helpful staff. Clean. Piri piri restaurant on site was a disaster. Husband ordered a pizza finally got it .mine didnt turn up. Waiter said sorry coming in few minutes , half an hour later turned up with a plate of seafood rice. We were only one of 4 people. Just a bad night , he said he was sorry and no charge. Think someone was spaced out!

A week in Santa Maria, Sal.

Spent a week at Sobrado Hotel. The good points: The staff are reasonably friendly and accommodating. The hotel is 5-7 minutes walk to Santa Maria, with bars, restaurants and several golden miles of beautiful beaches. Our room was superb, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good at the hotel with a good selection of cooked items, cold hams and salamis, fresh fruits, yoghurt and pastries. The poor points that hotel needs to improve: I had health and safety concerns with all the gym equipments which need replacement. We couldn't use the gym facilities. There was no spa services available, so went to another establishment. The hotel location, while entirely safe and accessible to beach and social life in Santa Maria, was on the edge of a desolate area. Sal is incredibly dry and desert-like, similar to Morocco or elsewhere in North Africa.

Stay here! friendly, modern, reasonably priced

Had a fantastic eight nights, staff are so friendly and accommodating. Hotel is modern clean and with all the basics you require, Beach towels, toiletries, breakfast etc. Price was excellent as is the location just on the edge of town, 5 minutes walk to restaurants, the beach, shops etc - highly recommend

For me this is not a 4-star hotel, more 3-star hotel. Dirty bed-linnen and dirty towels. They also charge you an extra 5 EUR if you want to change the towels. A 4-star hotel would never do that. Otherwise it is a very average hotel. The pool area is kind of depressing and the location is between two petrol stations. But it is ok.

This hotel was clean and everything cleaned daily in room. The staff were fantastic,so friendly and helpful with everything you needed. The hotel had a sister hotel 5/10 mins away which had a lovely pool plus you could use their sunbeds on beach very near. The hotel was a 5/10 min walk into Santa Maria plus some restaurants really close by. We would highly recommend the Sobradi and it’s not overpriced. We left yesterday. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and set us up for the day

The hotel is not by the beach. The photos make it look like it is by the beach but really isn't. You have to walk about ten minutes to reach the praia. The breakfast was good. The staff in the restaurants were friendly and efficient. The overall service was okay. I arrived Sunday, asked for extra 2 clean pillowcases, and I had to ask about 4x before I actually got them. By the time they gave me pillowcases, it was already Tuesday afternoon. I asked for a wake up call on my last day and the reception never called my room. I asked for clean towels and I was told that towels are changed every three days. I stayed for 7 nights and my bedding was never changed. The only positive thing about this hotel is breakfast. Other than that, it is pricey for the quality of service they provide. I say it is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT especially when it comes to beach descriptions. I would go somewhere else. I cannot recommend this hotel simply because customer service is not their priority.

Good hotel, but...

Nice size room, very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had nice size. Balcony was very small. Cleaning every day. Small fridge/mini bar, sadly no price list were present for the mini bar. Nice backyard with sunchairs and a small pool. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing. Limited choice and absolutely no variation during my two week stay. If you're a single traveller and want to take a visitor to your room - find another hotel. They charge you 25 EURO for bringing a visitor who is NOT allowed to stay the night...!

Rommet var ikke så rent ved ankomst, men ellers bra de andre dagene. Sengen var veldig komfortabel. God mat på hotellet, men ikke særlig stort utvalg. Personalet var super hyggelige og hjelpsomme! Var ikke fornøyd med massasjen jeg tok på hotellet, den var lite tilfredsstillende. Bra beliggenhet.
