Upon arrival I found that my room had not been cleaned. After cleaning and disinfecting my room, I went down and asked the manager “how often the rooms are cleaned prior to assigning them out.” He then explained that some checks throughout the week, or is supposed to. I shared photos of the cloths which were black from cleaning. He asked if I would send them to him via email which I did. (No response)He then offered to give my significant other and I a complimentary meal. (Dinner or breakfast) He was made aware I prefer “vegan/plant based” and my significant other does not. The following morning(Saturday )we went down to have breakfast and the staff was not informed. We paid for our breakfast. That evening we spent the entire evening listening to someone’s child run around in the hallway screaming, and horse playing. Our day had pretty much ruined. We were checking out the next morning, needless to say my BIRTHDAY weekend was ruined. Not to mention the pillows which deflated as soon as we laid on them. While I have photos, I choose not to upload them. I hope this helps the higher ups take heed to their own advice. I hope they will come make sure everything is up for par, whether top of the line or somewhere you booked for overnight travel.
