Hotel and room were both clean and tidy, staff were polite and efficient at check-in and check-out too. The location is very convenient for nearby shops and restaurants as well as the train station. The room itself had plenty of space for bags and luggage and was modern. The recommended car park is no more than 5 minutes walking, but it's not free and it's quite tight, and sometimes you have to go quite a few levels down. We found the pricing very competitive, but it would still be worth paying a small premium over other hotels for. The only downside we had at all was that they were having issues with some of the lifts on/off during our stay, and since they weren't very big, you would have to wait for it to go and then come back.

Bins weren't emptied, beds not made up each day, which when staying at a hotel of this rating is expected. Reception couldnt have been more helpful with the issue. I’m staying at the Clayton Hotel Düsseldorf for my second week and have really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is lovely, the breakfast is excellent, and the sauna and swimming pool are great. A special thank you to Airi at reception. She is always friendly, professional, and very helpful. Her warm welcome and support have made my stay even more enjoyable. Room was great , Staff were great. Location is very hand for Main Station and Underground. However the elevators take a lifetime to come. Especially in the morning. Stairs are for emergency use only so you have no choice but to wait on the elevator. It took 15 mins one morning for us to get to reception from the elevator.
