The location can't be beat (walking distance to Capitol and many spots to eat and drink), and the price is reasonable. Staff are helpful, and I had no problems with parking. But it's a stretch to call this a boutique hotel.

Front desk staff was helpful. Room was clean. My room was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. It was located near DoCo, Convention Center and the Amtrak station. The bathroom seems to have a smell coming from the ventilation system, so I ran the fan the entire stay. The shower had water that didn't quite get warm enough for a comfortable shower and the open shower design meant half my body was cold during my shower. The coffee in the room was mediocre, and the coffee in the lobby was terrible. But there is a cafe near the lobby I didn't try, so maybe that's the place to get good coffee. Overall, I would stay here again if I needed to, but I wouldn't seek it out.

Room was clean but small. Location of beds made it difficult for a c to cool room. Staff was excellent.

Like the retro feel of the motel and some of the staff went above and beyond to make my stay a great stay. It is unfortunate the EV stations out front did not work (Typical Tesla stuff) and I know its not the hotels fault but they should go with a different company if Tesla is not more accommodating for other types of cars. I had the adapter but just didn't work. The room was nice and the bed was amazingly comfortable and I slept well. The hotel was in a good location and easy to access from the highway but in a neighborhood adjacent feel to it. So easy to walk about the city.

This place was great! The staff was super friendly, they had freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at the check in desk and the room was comfortable and clean. It was well decorated and felt chic and boutique. They even had high end shampoo/conditioner, soap and lotion, and you could tell that the shampoo and body was were different products, lol. You absolutely can’t be the value for the price, as well! We come to Sacramento several times a year and this will now be my go to place to stay! So many great things in walking distance. We had a nice easy walk from the hotel to the Golden 1 arena. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Stayed here during a day trip with my daughter and had a great overall experience. The property was clean, appeared to be fairly new, and was conveniently located near the Capitol building. The only minor downside was the shower design. I’m not a huge fan of the partial glass shower door (or lack of a full door), but that seems to be a common trend in newer hotels these days. We also experienced a fire alarm going off around 3:00 a.m., which was a bit unsettling, but aside from that, we had no issues during our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and truly the highlight of our visit. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Our room seemed brand new. Very clean and cozy, decor is adorable. Overall very pleased with the room and property. We were delayed checking in to our room but the staff were very polite and kind. It is a loud area at night though.. I’d avoid going out past 10pm. Lots of partiers, loud cars, police sirens etc and our door didn’t close completely but the AC helps hide the noise. Definitely needs more parking available. We had to park on the street. Otherwise this is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay.

The housekeeping was awful. There was a noticeable stain on the duvet cover and hair on top and in the sheets. Hair was also found in the shower stall. Troy was very helpful in immediately moving us to another room. That shower also had hair in it. I used the shower hand held and rinsed it out. The brown spider in the bathroom took me over. I spoke with Ryan at the desk and was told he refunded the stay. I have no confirmation or receipt of it. I will be calling them about it.
