I booked this property through Expedia expecting a hotel based on the listing and advertised amenities. Upon arrival, I discovered it was actually an inn/guesthouse with shared/common areas, which was not clearly disclosed during booking.
The room was also in unacceptable condition. There was dirty cookware with food residue left in the sink, stains and marks on bedding and pillows, scuffed and damaged walls throughout the room, dirty shelves and furniture surfaces, and numerous signs of poor maintenance. The overall cleanliness fell well below reasonable hospitality standards.
Another issue was the advertised airport shuttle service, which was a factor in my decision to book this property. Upon arrival, this amenity was not available as represented.
The photos and description on Expedia did not accurately reflect the accommodation I received. My concern is not that this was a small property, but that it was materially different from the listing and poorly maintained.
Had the property been accurately described, I would not have booked it. I documented the condition of the room with photographs and have requested Expedia review the matter.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property and would advise future travelers to verify the accommodation type, amenities, and current condition before booking.
