We had an excellent stay at Hotel Forza Mare in Kotor. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the Bay of Kotor and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. The beach area is very nice and peaceful, it is along a very quiet walkable road along the water if you want to explore. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with recommendations and any requests we had during our stay. The service was professional while still feeling warm and personal. The hotel’s location is perfect—close enough to explore Kotor’s Old Town and surrounding attractions, yet far enough away to enjoy a quiet and relaxing retreat. We would highly recommend Hotel Forza Mare to anyone visiting Montenegro and would gladly stay here again. A memorable experience from start to finish.

Wonderful restaurant, outdoor grill, private beach! The rooms and balcony were wonderful. Darko was an excellent receptionist taking care of every detail. Had spa sessions and massage therapist was very good! Beautifully decorated and the setting couldn’t be more romantic!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. The setting is breathtaking. Located directly on the waterfront in Dobrota, the hotel enjoys stunning views across the Bay of Kotor, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere away from the crowds while still being only a short drive from Kotor’s Old Town. They have bikes available for a short ride into town. The private waterfront area was ideal for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the incredible scenery. Our room was beautifully appointed, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The hotel’s boutique character is evident, with our room offering a unique style and charm. Housekeeping was excellent, and every detail reflected the standards of a true luxury property. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, featuring fresh local ingredients and made-to-order items. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant and were impressed by the menu and wine list. What truly sets Forza Mare apart is its atmosphere. With only a small number of rooms, it feels more like a private waterfront residence than a hotel. Fabulous experience. The staff were uniformly helpful, always smiling and looking for opportunities to help. The room was good and the highlight was the spa, which was individually set up for individual guests / couples and when we wanted to use it we were given sole access. Great hotel but is it value for money???

Without doubt, this is a very high quality and classy hotel. The decor is first class, the service professional and courteous and the buffet breakfast fantastic. However, for the 230 Euros in the shoulder season it was not as expected. We stayed in 4 hotels for around 100 euro a night in Montenegro and they were very close in quality. The concerns we had were the tiny and scratchy towels and the total lack of soundproofing in the room. It was right next to reception and we could hear every word spoken, even when the receptionist was speaking in hushed tones. So if we could hear them so easily then I wonder what they heard from us :) the door certainly needs some soundproofing. Don't get me wrong, this hotel is pure class and we had a fantastic stay. It just seemed a little pricey compared to other hotels we have stayed in around the world in major cities when paying similar prices and this is not peak season. This town, as well as Parist 12kms away have been the highlight of our trip so far. Montenegro is certainly a truly amazing place with the friendliest people you could meet.

Super hotel sur la baie de Kotor.

Excellent accueil avec un coktail et parfaite présentation des services disponibles. Hotel très calme,avec une vue magnifique sur la baie de Kotor pour les chambres Executive. Propreté et confort parfaits, belle décoration. Installations sanitaires haut de gamme. Petit déjeuner excellent et très bien servi. La facturation du couvert et de 10% de service alourdit le prix du restaurant dont les prix de base sont corrects. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de bouteille de vin local à moins de 50 Euros pour les repas au quotidien.

Perfect hotel in a beautiful location!

Forza Hotel is an incredible boutique property located right on the Bay of Kotor with exceptional views from each room, amazing service, and beautiful modern and well-decorated rooms. The hotel has an incredible breakfast with customizable options, and a extremely helpful and friendly staff. As the only American staying at the property at the time I was thankful for the attentiveness, tips, and help from their English-fluent staff. The "beach" and dock on the bay was a personal highlight as the water was so clean and the set-up so relaxing. I can't wait to stay with them and at some of their other properties again. The only *slight* inconvenience I experienced was the parking, as there isn't enough on the main road up above and parking on the narrow one-lane road down below is a bit difficult and tight for larger cars.
