Can not say enough about the beauty of the hotel or the wonderful host, so accommodating. Piazza Dante is the perfect location to the entire city. Second visit and we will return again next year.

Unique property

The property is unique. Tucked into the side of the Plaza. Good central location. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but very tasty. I recommend it if you are looking for an out of-the-ordinary hotel experience.

Absolutely wonderful! We love Naples, but it can be a challenging city. Foro Carolino is an absolute oasis of calm. It clean, comfortable, well run and the people are extremely nice. When we return to Naples, we would not even consider another hotel.

10/10 Exceptional

Quiet little jewel in heart of lively Naples.

What a great find in the heart of Naples old city center. Easy to walk to everything in the historic city. Our host, Francesco has great pride of ownership and was most helpful. Just be sure you get precise directions where the hotel entrance is. It would be tough to find at night, or if trying to arrive by car.

8/10 Very good

The room and facility were great - great location, very nice room, just very difficult to find. Google maps said "you have arrived", but there was no sign anywhere. We had to contact the manager/owner to find us.

Quarto reformado tudo novo, amplo, bonito e silencioso. Café da manhã com cappuccino e suco de laranja natural feito na hora, muito bom! Muito boa localização, próximo a metrô, ponto de ônibus, restaurantes e supermercados. Recomendo

The owners arranged taxi service from Sorrento to this B&B, again arranged a taxi for us to the train when we left for Rome. They suggested sights to see and walks in Naples. The B&B itself is perfectly located and is exquisitely decorated. Our room was large, 20’ ceilings, with floor to ceiling doors opening on the Piazza Dante, the en-suite bath was also large and lovely with floor to ceiling windows. Linens were excellent quality. We both felt it met all our hopes for a romantic Italian holiday!

Foro Carolino is a very unique hotel. It's located in a building built in 1755. This is more like bed and breakfast as its family owned, and the apartment has belonged to one family for over 200 yrs. It's a very loved and very well taken care of hotel with friendly staff and great breakfast. Its conveniently located with walking distance to all attractions. Highly recommend .

Our hosts were very kind and accommodating. They went out of their way to assist us. The common areas and room were very clean. The hotel was close to a metro station which was very convenient. The only issues we noted were that the in room fridge did not work well and that wifi was very slow in the room. We would not hesitate to stay again.
Diana Grace, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely place to stay great host, but it really is a super noisy location.
Francesca, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

This family-owned B&B is unique and immerses you into the heart of Napoli’s exciting urban environment. The family has owned the space in this historic 1750s building for over a hundred years and remodeled it to its current purpose using only the best materials, furnishings and design concepts. Both private and shared areas are spacious, elegant and have every modern convenience. The staff is exceptional and Foro Carolino has air conditioning, strong water pressure and good storage. The one consideration is noise. If you must have quiet, this is not the place for you. Once we got used to the setting—similar to living in any big city environment—we didn’t mind. It became part of the charm, reminding us of the vibrancy of this exciting, world-class city. Foro Carolino was near every place we wanted to explore and the metro is merely steps away. So convenient! We walked or took the metro everywhere. The restaurants and nearby shopping are top-notch.

Such a lovely place to stay, looking right out on Piazza Dante. The hosts are very welcoming and provided a map of Naples with tips on what to visit and how to get there. Lots of options for breakfast with fresh coffee and juice. Very stylish and comfortable room with a large bathroom. Its very easy to walk to the main sights of Naples, and loads of lovely restaurants and bars in the area. Yes, it can be noisy at night, just like any large city- but we felt quite safe around the area and enjoyed watching the Piazza from our window at night. Would highly recommend.

Great place. Right on piazza Dante love the location. Walked all over Naples. The staff is so friendly
Stephen, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Perfectly located and newly refurbished property in the heart of Naples, with a few downsides. The staff were very welcoming and courteous, but failed to inform us of a Eur15 charge for late check-in (we arrived at 23:30). We found out about the charge only at the point of payment at check-out. Secondly, the room was neat and well-kept, but had a couple of snags; it was very hot and humid, despite the weather being somehow cooler and drier, and had very flimsy doors, which meant that both nights of our stay we were woken up at 7:30 by clanging of cutlery and crockery from the adjacent breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast, it was good but choices were rather limited. Overall a good stay, but some things can definitely be improved.

Excelente Oasis en el centro de la ciudad, muy limpia y con muy buen trato de su personal. En especial Franchesco que nos acompañó hasta el taxi el día que nos íbamos.
clara, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice little place spoilt by the noisey restaurant.

There was no street level signage to guide us to the way to the hotel however a waiter helped us. It was off putting at times as groups of young people seemed to congregate in the area but didn’t bother us. Our room also was above a restaurant and the room smelled of pizza, it was very noisy and as the air con did not work, the room was too hot. We could only open the window daytime for air as night was too noisy from the restaurant underneath. We did have the place to ourselves too once the other 2 guests left so it was quiet on that front. Another downside was there was no staff on site apart from breakfast on one of our mornings, check in and check out. On morning 2 we were given a voucher for the restaurant under the hotel but this was for orange juice/ coffee or a pastry only. The room design was lovely and very spacious. Superb location to Dante Metro which took us straight to Napoli Centrale so very convenient.
Kelly, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

The hotel itself is acceptable.Booked and paid for 4 nights and the owner charged me the full rate even after I told him I cannot stay in this area and moved out of this disgusting square after 1 night.Piazza Dante is dirty, messy and broken and the element of people around the area are frightening.Historical centre but we moved after one night to Chiaia-a different world-clean-smart-great shops.DEFINITELY STAY THERE-Recommend hotel Palazzo Alabardieri.
