Top notch service

We were 7 friends travelling by motorcycle. Got late (22.00) and called the hotel (Thomas) who said he should try to get us some food even though kitchen was about to close. Superb service. When we arrived there was no need for check in. First: go to restaurant eat currywurst and have a beer. Then proceed check in procedure. Superb and friendly service

This was a last minute booking and we were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with something for everyone (including those with gluten or lactose intolerance).

Junior suite has only under the counter fridge, doors to the freezer were broken (440). There is no hob only small combi oven/microwave. No air-conditioning. Room 440 is on the attic and there are steep steps it's not accessable for person with reduced mobility. We had to change the room to 434 just beside the lift. I forgot the item in the shower in the old room and I asked at the reception but it wasn't delivered to my new room. There is no charge for parking car with disabled badge. Pillows and beds are comfortable.

Dass das Zimmer nicht über eine Klimaanlage verfügt, hätte mir bei der Buchung auffallen müssen. Dass jedoch keines der Zimmer des Hotels über eine Minibar beziehungsweise zumindest einen Kühlschrank verfügt, überrascht mich bei einem Haus mit dem Anspruch eines Vier-Sterne-Hotels doch sehr. Zudem haben wir ein Zimmer mit einem barrierefrei ausgestatteten Bad erhalten. Selbstverständlich ist eine solche Ausstattung für Gäste, die darauf angewiesen sind, sinnvoll und wichtig. Für unsere Erwartungen an Komfort und Ambiente entsprach dieses Bad jedoch nicht dem Standard, den wir von einem Vier-Sterne-Hotel erwartet hatten. Die funktionale Gestaltung wirkte eher zweckmäßig als hochwertig und vermittelte eher den Eindruck einer funktionalen Einrichtung wie die einer Pflegeeinrichtung als den eines komfortablen Hotelbads. Zudem war auch u.a. die Beleuchtung nicht funktionsfähig.

Fint beliggende hotel lidt uden for Siegen. Værelserne er små og uden aircondition, men med mulighed for at lukke af for solen via et udvendig rullegardin af metal. Udendørs området savner en designer til at udnytte muligheden for at sidde godt forskellige steder på grunden. Desværre er det tilladt at ryge ved bordene udendørs, hvilket ret mange gæster gør, og det er generende at være ikke-ryger gæst og ikke kunne finde et sted at sidde og spise uden cigarretrøg.
