Casa Swell was perfect for Rita and I. The location was a quick 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and all the other extras you could want. It was clean and the vibe there was friendly and engaging. The part that really sold it the most was the hosts. They are very attentive and have suggestions to help you meet any particular needs you may have. We also really lucked out with having some amazing other guests that we got to know while we were there.

Villa Caprichosa Hotel is stunning & very comfortable. It is located on the hill and has beautiful views of the ocean. We stayed at La Choza cottage - 2 bedrooms & 2 baths and outdoor shower. Diana, the owner, is very nice and welcoming. Juan Carlos, manager, was very helpful and arranged pick up/drop off to the ferry. The Vista restaurant on the property is fantastic as well. Perfect hotel for a couples weekend or family trip with older kids.

El Litoral is a quiet corner of paradise up the coast from Panama City. The house is a few blocks from the beach which was deserted at noon on a Friday in late August. The neighborhood is accessed through a security check point and feels quite safe. Rene and Anne Marie are exceptional hosts in their private home where they live year round. Lovely little B&B in Coronado, just a few minute walk from the beach. Comfortable room, great pool and lots of nice landscaping and shady areas on the grounds. The manager, Yuri, is extremely helpful and nice. Makes great breakfasts. Even gave us a ride on a few occasions, as taxis a bit difficult to get in this area. If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing break from Panama City, this is a great place to chill for a few days.
