Downtown San Jose del Cabo charms visitors with colorful colonial streets and authentic Mexican character. The historic Art District reveals a sophisticated side, where galleries showcase local talent between colonial buildings painted in sunset hues. Golf courses perch dramatically on oceanside cliffs, challenging players to focus on their swing rather than the spectacular views. Visit the Thursday evening Art Walk when galleries stay open late and artists mingle with visitors over complimentary wine.
Hidden gem! This place is so cozy and close to the square, market and the art show that the plaza has on Thursdays. Great staff that is so friendly and very helpful. 10 out of 10! I will be coming back in June with my kids.
The hotel was beautiful from the moment you walked in to the sleeping accommodations and the swimming pool resort area. The ocean views and private beach access was fantastic. One of the best customer service is experience we’ve had so far. Everyone was attentive and paid attention to detail.
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TOWN YOU HAVE THIS OASIS OF TRANQUILITY. AT COCKTAIL HOUR WE WOULD ALL MEET BY THE POOL AND SHARE DRINKS , FOOD AND STORIES THEN MAYBE GO OUT TOGETHER TO A LOCAL RESTAURANT. THE GUEST WERE SO FRIENDLY AND INTERESTING WE HAD A LOT OF FUN DURING OUR STAY, AND MADE FRIENDS WITH SOME REALLY NICE PEOPLE.
The Hilton Azul is a fabulous property. Has everything and anything you can ask for. Only one disappointing problem. For a premier property, I can't believe they don't provide bottled water in the rooms. They admit the tap water in not approved for drinking, then why not provide water for their guests? Quite disappointing. BTW, they sell gallons and gallons of bottled water in their store. Spend the money, Hilton, and install a water filtration system.
Our room was upgraded to a one bedroom villa and it was beautiful. It has two bathrooms and an ocean view. The staff was excellent. Special shout-out to Efrain and Alejandro in the front desk, Salvador in Bella California, Angelica in El Patron and the staff of Neptune. Me and my husband celebrated both our birthdays and wedding anniversary there and it was great. Thank you.
I was unsure at first because it was too easy, really affordable and didn't ask me to pay before my stay, But the SM Apartments are attached to Santa Maria Hotel and provided all of the convieniences of staying at the hotel and the comforts of home.
Lined along a golf course, the view from our private balcony was serene. The apartment was spacious and clean. If you will need an iron, you will need to check that out at the front desk and I would have brough some kind of streaming device because...
This property is beautiful and very well
Kept. The staff is all wonderful , very courteous, welcoming and attentive. Property is newer and it shows. Plenty of food choices at the restaurants which did not disappoint. Property is approximately 30 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from the city /marina. Great views and the infinity pool is amazing. Thank you to all the staff to include Cesar , Mario, Yohari, Victor, Andres , carlos, front desk staff and everyone that we encountered. Will be...
My wife and I were at this nice boutique hotel for a week. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. The hotel is situated on the side of a mountain that rises up from the coast which creates a nice breeze at night. The walk to the beach is not bad at all. It takes about 8 minutes and we would do the walk every evening just for the pleasure. I was in Los Cabos for surfing and was not disappointed. There are 3 breaks in front of the hotel and waves every day. It was nice to go surfing in the...
Expedia was supposedly going to give a birthday gift/cake and it never happened.. the first day was a nightmare trying to figure out the room.
Ismael and Jonathan were beyond great… Attentive and kind.
Food was great, beach was amazing. Great stay overall
This small, no-frills hotel had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, and my room smelled fantastic--seriously. My belongings smelled like my room after I had returned home. Housekeeping is great and attentive. Other hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The whole place was clean and well maintained. Great bargain for the price. Would stay there again. They conveniently serve meals in on-site restaurant. I prefer to explore the local fare, but did enjoy the one breakfast and one...
Excellent across the board as far as staff and facilities go. However, there was a huge issue during our entire stay regarding dinner. From what we gathered while we were there was they were fairly short staffed. This meant long, frustrating waits to eat at any restaurant, every night. They didn’t have enough staff too cook, wait, or clear tables. We still don’t understand why they didn’t have any buffets open for dinner to solve this problem. So most people seemed to resort to room service as...
Great hotel, with amazing service and very good facilities but if you are looking for a nice beach this is not the place - the "swimmable" beach is very small and full of rocks. Food is good but too expensive.
We are world travelers, stay in only the finest resorts and are among the most selective (read "picky") guests. That being said, Las Ventanas is an absolute paradise. Everything about this resort is perfect. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The food is exquisite. The drinks are top shelf. The pools are perfect. Our room was immaculate, with Bulgari accents throughout. But the one foundation that allows this resort to stand head and shoulders above all the rest is... the Service. There is...
