Hibiscus House Bed and Breakfast

Hibiscus House Bed and Breakfast

10/10 Excellent
"The B&B was clean, comfortable, and a great place to stay on Contadora Island. But what really made our experience special were Tony and Mavi. Tony, a local, went above and beyond—showing us around the island and making sure we were comfortable. We even ran into Tony at the marina as we were heading back to our rental in the city, and he still went out of his way to help us and make sure we got there safely. That says a lot about his character and hospitality. Mavi prepared a delicious breakfast with freshly made mango juice—our first time trying it fresh, and it was fantastic! Great accommodations, but the people are what made this stay truly memorable. Highly recommend!"

"Welcome staff (Roberto) is fabulous! He arranged a mule (golf cart) rental & a pair of local captains for fishing / whale watching + beaches. He also accommodated our late check-out request, which my family and I greatly appreciated! The property is new and has many nice amenities! Hot water was hot (not always the case in Panama). Beds super comfortable. Outdoor grill was great and super handy. There were a few things that needed repair (chair, sliding doors), which probably shouldn’t have been the case considering how new the property was. This unit is on the second floor, so be prepared to walk up a long single flight of stairs. Property is an 8-12-minute walk from food and a beach or two. Contadora is a fabulous destination & Gemini 2 is a good place to stay if you are traveling with a larger party."

"Staff were wonderful hosts and breakfasts were great! The room was spacious and very clean. The pool was not operational during my stay and was also very underwhelming and this was not communicated when booking that the pool was not available"
