There was nothing we didn't like about the Bungalows! They were very clean, comfortable and the view from the deck was gorgeous. Our hosts, Alfred and Sonia, were so helpful and generous. Our villa was beautiful! We loved the grounds, the view of the ocean, landscaped perfect with nature. We seen monkeys almost every day and several red frogs too. Food at Punta Lava was very good. Prices for food and drinks really reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful.

A true hidden gem on Isla Colon. The grounds are teeming with wildlife and the 'pod' style lodging is such a unique experience. Despite having no AC, the pods stayed surprisingly comfortable. This was the first place on our trip with truly clean sheets and a comfortable bed. The staff is efficient and kind, and the included breakfast was excellent. It’s a peaceful, well-managed sanctuary away from the town noise.
