The hotel has a newer chef who has upgraded the food which we enjoyed so much we didn’t feel the need to schlep into the busy town. This is a lovely resort, and we had a wonderful stay. The beach is quite and the hotel is very relaxing and low key. The kitchen staff was accommodating as we are vegetarians.
The hotel needs some maintenance- the paint was peeling and the furniture looks old and worn out.
Right next to Turtle Watch for watching turtles lay eggs on the beach. You can also go out on the lagoon with the owner. Quite remote and far from the bustle of Tangalle.

I had a wonderful stay at Jade Green Hotel, Hambantota. The hotel is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities.
The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious with a good variety, and everything was fresh and well prepared.

The property is located quite far from the main road and I'll be honest, the access road isn't great. But that being said, once you get there, you don't want to leave. The rooms are big and very spacious. We booked the family triple room and it was huge and very comfortable. Pool was clean and inviting. You can use the kayaks at any time and go onto the lagoon.
