Fantastic experience. The concierge, the restaurant and the bartenders were all top notch. Looking forward to a return trip to Kathmandu and the Hyatt Place Hotel.
Very well maintained property. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Only issue was at check-in. I had reserved a room for a half day as my flight left in the evening. I had my text message from the hotel stating it would be $50 extra which I agreed to. Lady at the desk had to see the text. Take a screen shot and make a phone call to get approval. Rest of the stay was fine.

This is the 5th hotel of its price class I have stayed in when visiting Kathmandu over the years, and it is by far the best. Comfortable and clean!! Helpful owners and staff, homey. Brand new. The owners know how to make people comfortable and are eager and helpful to do so. They are building more rooms on the upper floors. Rooms and facilities are updated to modern standards but the entire complex retains its heritage. numerous excellent restaurants in the complex. The staff are friendly and helpful but very professional. Very comfortable bed, reliable internet, spacious and bright room. Close to the city but quiet.

Great property in Kathmandu, but better than that were all the staff! Front desk staff Amir and Shristy were truly amazing and helpful and kind. Hospitality at this hotel was way above standard in my humble opinion. The rooftop pool was great and somewhat private, although just a bit on the cool side. Enjoyed the variety in the breakfast buffet as well. A very hearty "dhanyabad" to Mercure Kathmandu!
Staff here are top notch! So welcoming helpful and ready to make your stay the absolute best it can be. Gym was great to help me train for my trek. Pool was beautiful. Restaurant is fabulous and the buffet for dinner and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be coming back here next time in Kathmandu!
