This is a family owned and run operation that is about 2 miles away from the Toyako Onsen area. We preferred this and loved the quietness of it. The view was nothing less than spectacular. The attention to detail of the different courses for the meals served was first rate. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area
We got the premium room with the the private onsen, the check in process was very nice, they sat us down, provided us with drinks and had us fill out forms in the lobby. The whole process was very relaxed. We then were walked over to our room, they offered to carry our things and than showed us everything in the room. Such a solid deal. Not only was it $60 USD in total for one night... Breakfast & Dinner was included in a buffet, food was the best buffet food I've had- what a great deal. Onsen experience was super fun as well.
The famous discount store is just besides the hotel, it is very convenience. Around the area also has many Japanese Restaurant. My wife and I tried the Yakitori, it was super delicious!!
Convenience location! Hotel is about 5 blocks from the train station. We could have walked but opt for a taxi ride instead. Our booking through hotels.com didn't included breakfast and we didn't have time for one either. We went shopping at the nearby supermarket.
