I stayed for a week in June. The room was spacious and clean, with WiFi and an AC unit. Breakfast was what Americans might call "continental", with local sweets to go with an espresso, fruit and yogurt. The person who checked me in was very helpful and friendly, was happy to provide some local information, and checked in on me several times during the stay to see if I needed anything. The only downside was that the one-way street outside my window was a bit noisier than I would have...
Beautiful location in the mountains. The woman at check-in gave us a map of the area and told us what to see and do. She also gave us a very interesting brief history of the building.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The owners were kind and personable. The breakfast was very nice, the apartment was large and comfortable - we didn't realize that they offer apartments and air bnb rooms bec we would have opted for the latter rather than the apartment but it was very nice and had a futon if we needed to accommodate additional people. Kitchen with full size fridge, balcony, and nice bathroom. Would definitely recommend.
The breakfast buffet was varied and beyond the usual 4 item continental type. Eggs and bacon in a warming dish, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. There were toastable ham and cheese sandwiches and hot and room temperature pastries and cakes. And of course a coffee bar with a gifted barista.
This hotel is a memorable trip back in time. Sextantio purchased and renovated 30 rooms in the village, each one with a different character, charm, and challenge. The rooms were restored with basic amenities, but it is easy to imagine the simple life people lived centuries ago.

This is a really beautiful property, and specific to those seeking remoteness. The village is effectively uninhabited, and at the same time offers a dramatic view of the surrounding mountains. A bottle of wine is offered for sale, but if you’re planning to eat in the evening, plan on driving 10-15 minutes to the closest restaurants. Of note, the breakfast was very complete and delicious!
