The service was excellent and very friendly. Staff assisted with winery visit bookings and dinner recommendations and bookings. Room was spacious and well appointed. The only negative was the housekeeping staff failed to stock toilet paper and soap so requests had to be made when we ran out. Should also note that the building is interesting given it’s centuries old. The mix of old and new made it aesthetically appealing. The restaurant that shares the space was top notch. We would definitely...

My husband and I stayed here on our first part of our two week trip through Europe. What a great start to our honeymoon. They gave us the honeymoon suite, we had gorgeous views of the rolling hills of Italy. We were so close to the centre of town and walked there one night of our stay. We went for the gusto wine tour, which was an amazing time. But you can see my review on trip advisor for that. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, so nice and friendly! Booked last minute on our trip to Assisi not really knowing about this gem, but turned out to be the best! Very friendly staff. The location is just the best if your planing a trip to Assisi. The views are amazing and your not far from the basílica of st francis and Maria degli angeli. The best !

This accommodation tops ALL the places we’ve stayed in Italy. The staff are gracious and so hospitable. Incredibly welcoming. The room, building, the terraces…all first class. Breakfast in the morning was bountiful and delicious. I recommend Portica 10 absolutely!!!

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, amazing food, QUIET.
Sitting in the hot tub amidst the ruins of a Roman amphitheater was beyond all great travel experiences.
Excellent chef, with a respectful eye towards organic and local tradition. Restaurant is a bit expensive, but far superior to the tourist restaurants in the center. Beautiful breakfast buffet, homemade pastries, and bread like bread should be made.
The experience is worth every penny.

Nothing major, just small things that kept it from being perfect. I would have liked a coffee pot and microwave. The floors needed a better vacuuming.
Staff was excellent and accommodating.
I don't know where the disconnect was but I thought I was booking the full apartment but was initially placed in a very small single room with bathroom. Fortunately the full apartment was available so we were able to switch to that on the second day. Just be aware that there are 3 properties available but...

This bed and breakfast is the loveliest and the best I have ever stayed in. First of all, Assisi is a beautiful little city definitely worth visiting when you are traveling in Italy. B&B Cantico delle Creature is where you must stay when visiting Assisi. The family that runs it is super kind. Unfortunately, I got very sick when I came here but they went above and beyond in caring for me. Giulia brought me food and came to check on me to make sure I was ok. Her mom did, too. We hit the jackpot when we found Brunelli! Very conveniently located, the rooms were spotless and the staff (Alisia) was great. Several excellent restaurants nearby and the breakfast has a nice variety to choose from.
If you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you but Assisi is hard on anyone with mobility issues.

Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable with high quality bathrooms, windows, etc. There are lots of little alcoves, inside and out, to hole up in. Great view of Perugia from across the valley, and the city itself is only a few minutes away (although it's one of the more maze-like experiences to try to get into the city center.)
Wi-Fi works well, although it's broken into a handful of small zones, owing I...

This was a wonderful experience with a very special personal attention. We highly recommend anyone to stay here. The view to our hotel was magnificent! Silvia, the owner of the place is also the owner of a first quality restaurant, very prestigious. We dined there and the food is absolutely delicious! We will come back for sure.

Myself and partner both in our 70’s stayed 8 nights. The grounds are beautiful. Excellent breakfast included. Staff helpful. Alessia was helpful for us as English speakers with little to non Italian. Close to Assisi. If I were to come back, I would definitely stay here.

We stayed at the Villa Raffaello Park for 3 nights. The staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The hotel was an easy 15 minute drive to Assisi.

Absolutely breathtaking!!! The rooms, the view the service and the location. WOW!!
And Salvatore is an absolute gem. We were unsure of how to get there and so he told us to call him when we were nearing the hotel
and he stayed with me on the phone and guided our every turn. He waited for us outside so we wouldn’t miss it. Talk about outstanding service. Every room is so charming and tastefully decorated and has the most beautiful views. And just a short and beautiful walk to get to the center....
