My wife and I had a long day of travel and some difficulty getting to Agnone and when we arrived we were met by Valentina who was extremely helpful and was able to show us to a very comfortable, warm and cozy apartment. Everything in the apartment was first rate and couldn't have been more comfortable and inviting.
We ended up in Agnone as we have some family history in this town and when we go back with our children we will certainly look forward to staying at the Borgo San Pietro again....

Hotel Don Luis closed for the season 30 September. We were moved to a sister property, Hotel Sport Village, for our reservation 1 and 2 October. Sport Village is in the outskirts of Castel di Sangro, just a short distance from Hotel Don Luis. The hotel is modern, with a pool, spa and nice grounds. The room was spacious and immaculate with a view that was amazing. A light breakfast was brought to us each morning at the requested time. The historic property was located right on the village piazza where the locals would gather each night for the gorgeous sunset.

This palace is a dream, beautifully appointed, stunning views and Dorothy, the owner, felt like an old friend. I wanted to stay so much longer. Only improvement would have been directions or signage on how to find the grand abode. Once found, parking was available right out front on the street, a safe street.
