Did a ton of research on hotels in Positano for week vacay w/ my GF - trying to keep $ manageable while providing key amenities (good balcony, location, etc.). So happy I went with Savoia.
Location - Perfect, seriously. Quick walk to Main Beach (5-10 mins) but situated on Cristoforo Colombo which has several nice bars/restaurants & amazing views. Also only 5 min. walk to the Sponda SITA bus stop (other stop is at the top of town). Couldn't beat it.

Me nd my Husband had such an amazing time at San Cristoforo felt like a honeymoon, the property is very well kept nd the rooms are very luxurious nd we also had the vesivius View which was amazing. Overall it felt like a palace, staff was very friendly nd helpful, also the breakfast nd dinner beyond delicious nd very romantic dinner. Outside the property only has few places u can eat and best spot was the Rooftop lounge. Thank you will definitely visit again!!!
The hotel and staff were very good. Its placed just off the main street, so you don't have to hear all the noise. There is a national forest in the back of the city that you can enjoy a nice walk with small waterfalls. The staff was spot on on all their recommendations. When we go back, we will stay here again.

We did two weeks all over Italy and ended our journey in Positano - it was fabulous! Positano is very charming and friendly with several beautiful hotels. After much research I decided on Buci de Bacco, I liked its romantic history and it exceeded all our expectations! The staff are ALL amazing, the hotel is right on the beach and the food was spectacular. We arrived exhausted from the hikes through Rome and were thrilled to find a place to relax. Really good place between Positano and Praiano!!! Nice area to hang out with a nice swimming pool and our room was perfect with jacuzzi in our bathroom and a balcony with a perfect view of Positano and Praiano.

As many other reviewers mentioned, it's a great hotel for the money. The hotel is run by Antonio and Paulo (father and son) who speak very good English and are very helpful with recommendations.
Breakfast: a good choice of fruits, meat cuts, cheese, cereal, coffee, etc.
Rooms: Good size. Modest, but have everything you need
Location: Quiet street. About 5-10 minwalk from S. Agnello station (next to last train stop). About 15-20 min walk from Sorrento city center

Great property. The only down side is that the gate for entrance and after hours does not lock - its not broken it just doesn't lock. Any one can walk in off the street. This should be secured with an entrance code or key.

The hotel has a picturesque view of the Bay of Sorrento, sitting up higher on one end just a short walk from the best restaraunts. If possible request a room on the 1100 piano (floor).The view from there overlooks the pools and the bay. Stunning. This year we stayed on the 5th piano (floor) and the photos of from this year.

Had the best stay at Hotel Capri! Came with a friend for a week and it was a wonderful experience. We ate breakfast there everyday , loved sitting by the pool, and had a beautiful and clean room. Will definitely be back!
This hotel is a gem!! The private beach access alone makes it a must stay! The food by the beach is great and the beach chairs and easy water access means you can stay out there all day. Bring your water shoes because the small rocks when you're getting in and out are a little rough.
