Arriving way ahead of check in time in a downpour with wet bicycles we were graciously greeted by the owner of this charming old hotel. He allowed us to have our room immediately and it was perched on the corner with two windows looking out at the old clock tower and the roofs of the town. Excellent hotel and restaurant. We needed a stay while attending an event at the Imola racetrack. Our room was simple, clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful, especially a younger girl at the front desk ( her name started with a M and she had brown hair) . The morning breakfast was complete with delicious pastries, breads, yogurt, fruits, eggs, meats, juice and coffee.

Our stay at Grand Majestic exceeded all expectations. We were upgraded top a stunning suite, the bathrooms were huge, excellent shower, lovely bedding, attentive and helpful staff, and we had an amazing meal. We only intended to stay for one night, but extended our stay for a second night because we loved Bologna and were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We highly recommend!
