This has been characterized as a highway hotel and it may so but it's definitely much more than that. Rooms are ample and very comfortable, and clean. Hotel staff is always ready to help. Located next to a highway it allows for easy access to Como, Lecco, Milan or any other place in Lombardy. You do need a car though, but there's a train station a 20-minute walk away. The property, rooms and staff were all amazing. The family that owns the hotel are very hospitable and welcoming. We had a lovely evening chatting with them about a local festival l. It was very memorable.
However, if you did not rent a car buyer beware that it is a long and steep climb/walk to the hotel from any bus stops or ferries. And Ubers/taxis are hard to come by. Other than that the walk itself is beautiful just a little bit difficult.

Wonderful boutique hotel in heart of Old Bergamo. Original reservation was for a King room but when I extended time had to reserve the higher priced loft. It was lovely but awkward as bed is in lift up steel stairs and the bathroom downstairs and all is cramped. But loved it all the same.

We loved our three day stay at this lovely hotel. The views from the hotel of Lake Como and the City of Como were outstanding. We had a corner suite with two large floor to ceiling windows with views of the City of Como and its duomo as well as looking down the length of the lake. Our two sided balcony was amazing.
