This agriturismo is located not far from Bari, Matera and Alberobello. It is definitely out in the country and the nearest town with services is a couple miles away. But it was quiet and nice to relax before ending my trip. The owners were very nice and made sure I had breakfast before my very early departure.

Our sea view suite had the most incredible view of the most popular beach in Polignano a Mare. It was a pleasure to sit on the balcony every day. We had an amazing stay at the Cenobio Hotel! It can be a bit tricky to find if it's your first time in Matera, and you can't drive directly to the hotel. Plus, there are some steps to navigate both downhill and uphill. Knowing this from other reviews, we contacted the hotel before our arrival. You cannot drive directly to the hotel. Parking is a short distance away and you must walk to the hotel on cobblestone streets with your luggage, but this is not too difficult and true of many places in central Matera.
The hotel is as good as expected. The staff is super helpful and always check in to see whether you need dinner reservations.
