This hotel was really nice! We sprang for the balcony view room, and we should have arrived earlier to take advantage. The restaurant downstairs was bustling with other travelers, not just from the hotel. We did have some time to sit out and enjoy the evening coming down on Lake Como. The property, rooms and staff were all amazing. The family that owns the hotel are very hospitable and welcoming. We had a lovely evening chatting with them about a local festival l. It was very memorable.
However, if you did not rent a car buyer beware that it is a long and steep climb/walk to the hotel from any bus stops or ferries. And Ubers/taxis are hard to come by. Other than that the walk itself is beautiful just a little bit difficult.

Gorgeous property with an amazing view, a pool, clean, with very friendly staff. They offer breakfast which was basic but enough choices and delicious. A bit far from the promenade about 20 min walk going down and 25 min going uphill. Beautiful walk, though! If you are OK with a nice walk this is the place for you. If you have a car they offer free parking. There are few taxis available in case you need a ride. Very peaceful place
