A lovely property with beautiful views from the pool. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in room was excellent, with many options to choose from. Very quiet property and good location to access many things in the Valpolicella region.
We booked a night here to visit the attached thermal park, and loved every minute of it. We were in Residence 2, and the staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. Entrance to the park was included in the rate and we spent most of the day at the larger lake next to the restaurant. I didn't want to leave, and would gladly have spent a few more days exploring the beautiful grounds, the smaller hot lake nearer the residence, and the indoor/outdoor thermal lake that we never even saw...
Very, very nice. Nicest hotel I've stayed in for quite some time. One minute walk from train station. Easy walk to the lake or center of town. Comfortable lobby. Modern, clean and comfortable room. Nice bathroom with good shower. Breakfast can be improved a bit. But overall, five stars from me.
In the center of old Verona! Welcome was outstanding. We recommend it. Driving is a challenge in the old City but can be handled with GPS. We chose the vlet parking as the car is not needed in the old City
Great location, great staff, great breakfast, great espresso, and great room. Only negative was that the shower was a bit tight, and I am not a big man.
I was able to hone my Italian skills, as my second generation Italian was a bit rusty. Although the staff understood and spoke English, I insisted they communicate with me in Italian, just to test my memory.

As a solo girl traveling, I prefer hotels as there are more interactions with people. However, this property was EXTREMELY clean. It was spotless and crisp! The restroom is outside of the bedroom which luckily, I did not have to share, but if that is a privacy concern for anyone, the restroom is not in the bedroom itself. The Colomba D'Oro is a fabulous hotel -- and a notch above other four star hotels at which I have stayed. The lobby is beautiful, the staff members are exceptionally attentive, the breakfast is generous and tasty, and the location is amazing! This is one of the best European hotel experiences I have had in a long time.
Absolutely amazing building, art decoration, functionality. The villa is just beautiful all around. Great job in converting it into a hotel. Great lobby, pool area, spa, restaurants. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff was very helpful in all aspects of our needs. Not much at walking distance, aside from a couple restaurants, dry clean, pharmacy. The region around it is very beautiful, with many wineries at close distance, lake Garda about 1h drive away. We had a blast in our 4 nights stay.
Clean hotel with a very convenient and quiet location. The staff was very helpful in giving recommendations and assisting with directions, plus they were just nice. The room was quiet and still appointed. The jacuzzi was closer due to weather, but the area looked like a great hang out spot. The breakfast was a really good start to the day.
My sister and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel San Pietro. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I would stay there again. The only thing I would do different is book a larger room, the standard doublerooms are awfully small. The hotel also has a very convenient location, it definitely deserves 4 Stars.
