A lovely property with beautiful views from the pool. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in room was excellent, with many options to choose from. Very quiet property and good location to access many things in the Valpolicella region.
We stayed in the Tosca room. It was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Staff had great recommendations for local dining. We were served an excellent breakfast in our room. Our only regret is that we stayed only one night. Tip: if you’re driving, call the hotel first and give them your license plate number so you can drive through the restricted old town to drop your luggage at the hotel before going to off-site parking.
Clean hotel with a very convenient and quiet location. The staff was very helpful in giving recommendations and assisting with directions, plus they were just nice. The room was quiet and still appointed. The jacuzzi was closer due to weather, but the area looked like a great hang out spot. The breakfast was a really good start to the day.
This hotel is LITERALLY across from Juliet’s Balcony, and in the heart of it all. When we first got there I won’t lie, I was definitely concerned about being dead center of a huge tourist spot, but the noise at night wasn’t an issue at all. They lock the gate and only hotel guests can come in and out (so save trying to see the balcony for after hours unless you want to go inside). The hotel is quite good, clean with a big garden. The problem is it located in a quite isolated area. So, if you have no personal transportation then travelling by public transport is very difficult.
In the center of old Verona! Welcome was outstanding. We recommend it. Driving is a challenge in the old City but can be handled with GPS. We chose the vlet parking as the car is not needed in the old City
My girlfriend and I booked this hotel under the incorrect impression that pets were permitted (we have a large Golden Retriever). The staff apologized when they saw the dog, and told us we would have to vacate our room. They then moved us from the main hotel and relocated us to an upgraded suite away from the majority of the other guests. We are so appreciative the management allowed us (and the dog!) to keep our reservation.
