Best hotel I have stayed at in quite some time. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The homemade bread was excellent. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here to get away from the crowds at Venice and could not have picked a more relaxing area. The river runs right next to it. The town has a train station with a direct route to Venice. We drove our car to the station (plenty of free parking) and took the train in to Venice each day. I would highly recommend...

Hotel Casa del Pellegrino was wonderful. No frills, but super clean and accommodating. I was super comfortable and felt safe and secure. Perfect location if you are looking to visit the Basilica. Parking available for 12$ euro a day as of September-October 2022. Staff are super friendly and accommodating- called for a taxi for us a few times and their system is quick and efficient. This place was amazing. Perfect location. They provided us a free boat ride to see the Murano glass being made and then to Burano. The rooms were very clean, comfy bed and nice a cool AC. Service was great. A big plus was on site parking. It wasn't cheap but worth it. So many people walking around pulling luggage. The boat taxis are super expensive but the ferry is right by the hotel and cheap. Would definitely recommend this place. A+

The location is a 3 minute walk from the train station but is on a quiet side street so it is away from all the hub-bub and crazy fray in front of the train station. This hotel was super close to the train station and very easy to find. If traveling with train, no need to hire a porter. Breakfast was decent and all self serve , including the coffee. Rooms are average with European standards but clean. We had the best pizza at a small shack called Al-Volo. Watch for the birds trying to get your food. Staff seemed to be nicer if you were American. When we switched to our native language, there was a shift in the attitude.

It's a little far from Venice and doesn't have a shuttle, but for us for one day it was a treat. We took a taxi that cost 30 euros each way, we had so little time it made it worth it. The place is lovely even if the paintings are a bit camp after you have seen the masterpieces in Venice. The grounds and interior are lovely, gracious, and comfortable. The pool is elegant, but I wish it were open longer, it was hard to make time to swim before or after our excursions. The rooms are very nice...
