Fantastic staff, starting with the super Cinzia and the amazing Daniele, the resort’s master chef. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer and experience Saturday pizza night. Palazzolo itself is lovely and you are just a 45 minute drive through the lovely countryside to such towns as Noto, Modica, Ragusa and Siracusa.
It is very early days for this hotel ,it opened in Sept 2014 , but what a place , stunning rooms with breathtaking views, fantastic spa and gym , the evening meal and wine was a delight as was the breakfast .
The bedrooms are all in keeping with the rest of the period building , but with modern heating and barthrooms .

San Giorgio Palace has a spectacular location atop Ragusa. When you exit the hotel on floor 5, it's just a few flights of stairs up to the main square in Ragusa with all its sights, shops and restaurants.

We had a delightful one-night stay at Villa Boscarino. The hotel is created within a classic old villa with lovely modern features. Gardens and pool tranquil. It's atop a hill in the modern area of Ragusa, but a short cab ride over to the historical Ragusa area for dinner. Parking was available for our rental car. Staff was so helpful, caring and genuinely kind. Loved Stephanie at the poolside.
