The Atlantic is an older building that has the perfect flavor of the resort hotels of my youth: whisper quiet long carpeted hallways, a small but comfortable room, and caring and competent staff. This hotel is located in the heart of the city with a wonderful pub inside and fine dining adjacent. Parking is free (and located approximately 5 minutes walk). Great location in a wonderful little town. Some rooms are located right by the street which can get rowdy at night times. Ask for a room that doesn't face the main street.
This is a historic pub full of history and culture. The people are lovely! The bnb portion is a newer construction of little row cottages in the back. Very clean and comfortable. Was not clear in the description that the building is actually divided into 3 units. We booked the 3 bedrooms only to realise it's upstairs. And is a big con for a disabled visitor. The flight up is okay but imagine if you can't climb up the stairs! Each bedroom had their tiny individual shower rooms.
