We had a long day of travel from Venice to Salerno and this was the perfect hotel! It was walkable from the train station, the room was big and we did have a balcony. The continental breakfast was great - with some good croissants. There are also many different cafes and shops nearby. We were able to walk less than a mile to take a ferry to Positano. I would highly recommend if you are using transportation and want something convenient.
My wife and I stayed Thursday through Sunday, the hotel did allow us to check out 30 minutes late till 11am and we were also allowed to leave our luggage while we continued to check out Salerno all day Sunday.

We had a fabulous experience at Villa Fraulo. When we arrived, the hotel staff was waiting at the entrance to greet us and make us welcome. We had 2 rooms, each w/ a balcony overlooking the Med. I stayed 4 nights with my wife at Le Terrazze. Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, close to Amalfi, Ravello and not far from Positano. The view from my room was just AMAZING. The hotel crew led by Marcello was extremely helpful to arrange restaurant and activities booking. The hotel does not have a full restaurant, which I believe is a PLUS because it keeps it quiet, calm and private parking is always available. Breakfast is excellent. I would highly recommend it.
